About Me

Meet Cassie

LMSW-C (she/her)

As a fat, queer therapist, I know firsthand how discrimination and social “norms” can impact your mental and physical health. My goal is to be your ally and advocate, helping you navigate barriers and embrace your authentic self.

I view my role as one part of your care team, but you are the leader of that team. You are the expert on YOU. My job is to meet you where you are today and help you access the resources that empower you to move forward—whether they are new to you or have been within you all along.

I have been working in the nonprofit and behavioral health fields since 2010. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan in 2021. My clinical experience includes outpatient mental health, crisis intervention, and behavioral health care coordination. I specialize in issues related to identity, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergent minds such as ADHD and Autism.
